Article Processing Charges

Article Processing Charges (APCs)
The Journal of Precision Medicine and Artificial Intelligence (JPMedAI) operates as a fully open-access journal. This means all published content is immediately and freely available online without subscription barriers, in line with our commitment to equitable knowledge dissemination and compliance with Plan S principles.

To sustain this model, we normally apply an Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover the cost of:

  • Editorial and peer review management

  • Professional copyediting and typesetting

  • DOI registration and long-term archiving

  • Website hosting, indexing, and digital preservation

  • Administrative support for authors and reviewers

Launch Waiver
To encourage high-quality submissions during our launch phase, all APCs are currently waived for manuscripts submitted by 31 December 2025. Authors will pay no publication fees during this period.

Future APCs
Once the launch waiver period concludes, our anticipated APC will be USD 1,000 per accepted article. Waivers or discounts will be available for authors from low- and middle-income countries, and for exceptional student-led research.

This approach ensures we can maintain rigorous peer review, high production standards, and permanent open access while supporting a diverse global authorship community
